Chris Paul has only played in 32 games for the Golden State Warriors this season and has contributed 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 7.2 assists during that time.

He hasn’t been with the Warriors since the start of January because of a fractured hand, but he is set to return in just a matter of hours.

According to Shams Charania, Paul is listed as available for Golden State’s Tuesday game against the Washington Wizards.

Paul will be coming back at a very interesting time for the team.

The Warriors had a 17-18 record when Paul left on January 5.

Since then, the team has seen a lot of bad but a lot of good too.

They now hold a 29-27 record and have been winning a lot more lately, including going 8-2 over their last 10 games.

They still have their fair share of problems, which were evident on Sunday night when the Warriors were defeated by the reigning champion Denver Nuggets.

The most impressive change over the last month has been the powerful output from the role players and second unit.

Speaking of that second unit, Paul will likely be a very important part of it.

Paul hasn’t been a starter for most of the season, an adjustment he has accepted wholeheartedly.

Upon his return, he will be playing with Klay Thompson, who has also been shifted to the bench recently.

The duo of Paul and Thompson could prove to be very beneficial to this Warriors team, especially right now as the playoffs approach.

If he is totally healthy and fully rested, Paul could provide a huge boost of energy to Golden State and allow Stephen Curry more time to rest before the pivotal end of the season.

The Warriors have gotten better during Paul’s absence; will he help them become even more successful?
