In the next few days, a number of NBA teams could commit to big trades and look very different for the season ahead.
One of those teams may be the Utah Jazz, who could be parting ways with their biggest star, Lauri Markkanen.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, via Evan Sidery, the Jazz are “listening to trade offers” on Markkanen.
The Jazz were reportedly seriously interested in acquiring Mikal Bridges before he moved to the New York Knicks.
They would like to retain Markkanen “in a perfect world,” according to Wojnarowski, but they are also ready to listen to some “aggressive” offers.
However, he added that it would take a “great, great deal” to get Markkanen out of Utah.

Markkanen has averaged 24.5 points and 8.4 rebounds during his two seasons with the Jazz.
He has become the biggest star on the team and also earned his first All-Star appearance in Utah.
Just a year ago, he was considered untouchable and it was assumed he would remain with the Jazz for a very long time.
But the team suffered another disappointing season and now they are considering all their options.
They won’t give Markkanen up for just anything, though.
Therefore, any team that wants his size and special style of offense will have to put together a very good package featuring multiple players and assets.
The Jazz have shown that they are open to playing hardball to get what they want and there is no doubt they will only give up Markkanen for a massive package.
