Just hours after being eliminated from the NBA playoffs, the Los Angeles Clippers released a definitive statement about Kawhi Leonard’s most recent injury.

Leonard has suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee, a very serious injury made even more serious by the fact that he has already encountered a couple of other problems in that leg in the past.

NBA reporter Chris Haynes is reporting that Leonard is “weighing his rehab options after being diagnosed” with the injury.

As expected, any sort of timeline for Leonard’s return is unknown.

We now know that the injury Leonard suffered recently is much more serious than expected.

The recovery process could take a long time and there is already speculation that he could miss some of the 2023-24 season.

The rehabilitation process for an injury like this, especially after previous problems in the leg, will be months.

Will a surgery be coming soon for Leonard and how will that impact his return to the league next season?

All of this is up in the air and fans of the Clippers aren’t sure what the future holds for the star.

There is much speculation that Leonard may have played his last game for the Clippers.

When he suffered this latest injury, analysts and followers of the team had enough and called on the front office to deal Leonard away since he can’t remain healthy.

It seemed likely that the team would make some changes in the summer.

Does the severity of Leonard’s injury change these possible plans?

The report on his injury only complicates Leonard’s future even more.
