The Golden State Warriors must be thrilled to get Andrew Wiggins back.

He has been away from the team since mid-February but is expected to return to the team this week.

The All-Star forward is set to return early this week after missing the last 21 games.

With only three games left in the regular season, Wiggins should be ready to play when the playoffs begin.

His presence has been missed on the floor for the Warriors.

Golden State has struggled defensively and Wiggins can help correct that.

Also, he is one of their best scorers.

He can put the ball in the basket from all over the floor and gets plenty of open looks playing with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Many people are wondering why Wiggins missed so much time.

While it was said to be personal reasons, it appears that the cause has been released to the public.

According to Shams Charania, Wiggins’ father was dealing with a serious medical situation.

Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins plans to attend Warriors-Thunder on Tuesday. The reason for Wiggins’ leave of absence since mid-February is that his father, Mitchell Wiggins, has been dealing with a serious medical situation, sources close to the situation say.

Hopefully, the fact that Wiggins is returning means his father is doing better.

But he will still have this issue on his mind for the rest of the year.

It is great news for Wiggins and the Warriors that he is returning.

Now Golden State is set to have its championship core back in place from last season.

Even though the Warriors have had an up-and-down season, they are still a team no one wants to face in the playoffs.

The NBA playoffs will be very competitive, and it will be fun to see if the defending champions can repeat.
