The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors have struggled to reclaim their form as one of the dominant teams in the league this season.

Steve Kerr’s squad has dealt with several issues on and off the floor, making many question whether they can truly defend their title come playoff time.

Despite the team’s fair share of struggles and an awful away record of 9-29, the Warriors are in the No. 6 seed in the West and appear to be playoff bound once again, with Fox Sports’ Chris Broussard believing Golden State is a serious threat yet again.

Time to believe Warriors have found playoff form?

No team in the NBA playoff picture has more experience or has gone through more playoff battles than Stephen Curry and company.

The Warriors are battle tested and will be ready for whatever comes their way once they clinch a playoff spot in the West.

Unlike the Eastern Conference, which has four teams that may be able to beat any opponent in the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers, the West is wide open.

The Phoenix Suns, with a healthy Kevin Durant, may be the exception in the West, but other than that, the Warriors still have a path to repeat if Kerr and his team can put it together in the playoffs.

If the playoffs were to start today, the Warriors would be matched up with the Sacramento Kings, which could be an ideal matchup for the defending champions.

The Kings are ending the longest playoff drought in the NBA and will be the least experienced team in the postseason, which bodes well for this veteran Warriors squad.
