For weeks now, NBA fans have heard that the Chicago Bulls are on the verge of making major trades.
Multiple players from the team could be sent packing in just a few weeks before the trade deadline.
According to Chris Haynes, per NBACentral, it is “pretty likely” that the Bulls could move DeMar DeRozan if they are unable to reach an agreement about a trade extension.

DeRozan’s name has been in rumors ever since reports came out about the Bulls’ path ahead and their desire to make some trades.
Teams like the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Knicks are reportedly intrigued by the idea of signing DeRozan.
The 34-year-old six-time All-Star has averaged 21.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game, shooting 44.2% from the floor.
His departure from the team would mark the end of an era for the Bulls.
When he first came to Chicago in 2021, DeRozan immediately took control of the team and helped them climb to sixth place in the Eastern Conference.
For a while, they seemed like one of the brightest teams in that conference and had a real chance at postseason greatness.
Sadly, that time was brief and they once again started to suffer from serious problems last season.
Right now, they are 12th seed and have a 9-14 record.
Although a lot of speculation has centered around a possible Zach LaVine trade, DeRozan would also generate interest on the market and could do a lot for multiple teams.
With time starting to run out, the Bulls will soon have to decide if they want to offer him a formal deal or find a new home for him.
