The Philadelphia 76ers and James Harden have reached a stalemate.
The former MVP wants to be traded — again — and GM Daryl Morey isn’t looking to honor his wishes, regardless of their relationship and friendship.
Harden is under contract for another season, and his market value and trade value aren’t as high as he thought they would be.
According to former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr., he has no one but himself to blame for that, via The Carton Show.
“James Harden is looking out for James Harden, he’s not looking out for a team. He doesn’t care about championships!”

Per Hardaway, Harden is a selfish player who just wants to do whatever he wants and is only looking out for himself.
He claims Harden has failed to put his teams on his shoulders over and over, and he cannot understand why he can’t get the job done in the playoffs despite being so good in the regular season.
Hardaway believes Harden has put himself in a corner and is currently on the decline, which is why no team is interested in paying him as much money as he wants.
Back in the day, Kobe Bryant predicted this sort of thing would happen with him, citing that Harden’s style of play wasn’t suited to thrive in the playoffs, and it looks like he was right all along.
Harden isn’t getting any younger, has had durability, coachability, and character issues, and has no rings to show for that.
It’s hard to make a case for him being worthy of another big contract at this point in his career, and he’ll have to come to terms with that sooner rather than later.
