In just 100 days, NBA fans will witness true basketball greatness.
The league reminded fans that Tuesday marks exactly 100 days from Game 1 of the 2024 NBA Finals.
This year’s championship begins on June 6 and is sure to come with a ton of talent, drama, and surprises.
The NBA marked the special occasion on Twitter with the iconic photo of Wilt Chamberlain holding his hand-written sign after scoring 100 points in a single game, which is still a league record.

Although there are many predictions about who will reach the Finals this year, the truth is that just about any team could still go all the way.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics currently lead their respective conferences, but that doesn’t mean that other teams won’t rise up and take them down, either before or during the playoffs.
Just last season, the Milwaukee Bucks entered the playoffs as the best team in the Eastern Conference and they were pushed out in the opening round by the eight-seed Miami Heat.
Could something like that happen again this year?
And what about last season’s impressive run by the Los Angeles Lakers, who surprised many by reaching the Western Conference Finals?
Will another team pull off a stunning feat like that in 2024?
The Western Conference is much more competitive than the East right now, with the Oklahoma City Thunder and reigning champion Denver Nuggets right behind the Timberwolves.
And while the Celtics have a sizable advantage right now, the Cleveland Cavaliers could continue to surge and surpass them.
The Bucks and New York Knicks could also make life complicated for Boston, while the Philadelphia 76ers and Heat can’t be counted out either.
100 days is plenty of time for a number of franchises to impress and surprise.
