The new crop of NBA superstars is slowly but surely taking over the league.
Among them, Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has the potential to become one of the best scorers of this generation.
In his short career, Young has already led the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals once.
He hasn’t had much team success outside of that one year, but it would be a huge mistake to leave him out of the conversation featuring players with arguably the highest ceiling.
That is true considering that Young believes he is one of the most disrespected players of this generation, as he revealed via Kevin Chouinard on Twitter.
“If you don’t think I’ve been disrespected, you’re just not telling the truth,” Young said.

Young has a tendency to get on the nerves of many fanbases around the league, especially that of the New York Knicks.
It’s true that Young has a cold personality at times, but it doesn’t take away the fact that he’s one of the most gifted basketball players in the NBA right now.
Trae has played five years in the NBA and has averaged 25.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 9.3 assists over his career.
Most usually recognize Young’s elite scoring ability, but they tend to overlook his skillful playmaking.
After all, he averages nearly 10 assists per game for his career.
The best way for Young to silence his haters would be to prove his worth by leading the Hawks to an NBA championship sooner rather than later.
Unfortunately, keeping the competition in the Eastern Conference in mind, the chances of the Hawks winning the 2024 NBA title are bleak.
But can Young prove everyone wrong?
