The Minnesota Timberwolves found a special talent.
Anthony Edwards has proven to be the real deal, and he looks like one of the faces of the league already.
On top of his unmatched athleticism and smooth moves, the young shooting guard is also a bit of a comedian, and his charisma has really helped him become a fan favorite.
That was in full display again during the All-Star Game practice, as he claimed that he was only going to shoot left-handed during the entire game (via Action Network).

Notably, this reminds us of when Celtics legend Larry Bird stated that he was only going to shoot with his left because he was saving his right hand for the Lakers, although he did it in a regular-season game.
Bird took ten of 34 shots with the left hand in that game, scoring 47 points to go along with 14 rebounds and 11 assists.
Current and former players have often praised Edwards for his old-school feel for the game.
He’s a born trash-talker and a relentless competitor, and he just makes us feel like we’re watching a player from the 90s or 2000s whenever he’s on the court.
He’s also stated that he’s always the best player and athlete regardless of which sports he’s playing, and his talent is more than evident.
So, it will be interesting to see if he’s able to live by his word and, more importantly, how many points he scores with his weak hand, assuming he does have a weak hand.
