Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant is one of the most influential athletes of all time.
His impact went way beyond the basketball court, as his Mamba Mentality was a big inspiration for people in all fields.
Kobe was taken from us too soon, but his legacy will live on forever.
As a matter of fact, even those who didn’t get to watch him play are honoring his legacy.
That includes Jayson Tatum’s son Deuce, who recently recreated Kobe’s iconic picture with the Larry O’Brien trophy (via Ball is Life).

The original picture, however, has a harsh context and is by no means as adorable as this new replica.
Kobe was hurt and sad because his father didn’t attend that championship-clinching game, which clearly wasn’t the case with Deuce.
Multiple people have tried to replicate that iconic Kobe flick, but no one can pick up that aura.
That picture speaks volumes about Kobe as a human.
He was often misunderstood and he rarely cared to show any emotion, but he cared more than anybody else in the locker room.
Also, even at the peak of his accomplishments as an NBA player, he still wasn’t satisfied, and chances are that he didn’t even care about celebrating at the moment because he knew in his heart that it wouldn’t be the last time he hoisted the Larry O’Brien trophy.
It’s crazy to think that Kobe is no longer among us, but it’s nice to see that he’ll never truly go away.
