Everyone already knows that Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is one of the best NBA players alive, but is he also on his way to being an Olympic champion?
That isn’t clear yet but Antetokounmpo is obviously playing his heart out in Paris.
According to Yahoo Sports on Twitter, the Bucks icon was doing great work during the first half of his game against Australia.
Antetokounmpo scored 15 points and went 6-of-7 from the field and also secured 5 rebounds.
This is very important, of course, because Greece is trying very hard to win to avoid elimination in the Olympics.

Anyone who has been paying attention to Antetokounmpo lately should not be surprised by these numbers.
Last season, he scored an average of 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists on 61.1% from the field.
At 29 years old, he is still playing some of the best basketball of his career.
Unfortunately for Antetokounmpo, his Bucks have been having some problems and they weren’t able to get through the first round of the playoffs.
That was mostly because Antetokounmpo and his teammate Damian Lillard were injured during the postseason, leaving the Bucks completely decimated.
They are hoping for better luck next season.
Until then, Antetokounmpo is going to keep playing his heart out in Paris as a way to make his home country proud.
No matter how the Olympics pan out, he has high hopes and big expectations for the 2024-25 season.
The Olympics have a way of bringing out the best in athletes and fans are hoping Antetokounmpo’s amazing work continues into the new season.
