The Philadelphia 76ers have a legit superstar in Joel Embiid.

Nonetheless, his mocking and trolling personality doesn’t sit well with a lot of people, and it’s safe to say that he’s earned his fair share of detractors throughout the course of his career.

One of those is Brooklyn Nets star Nic Claxton, and he has no problem letting it be known.

Claxton recently made the rounds on social media for admitting that he takes his matchups with Embiid very personally, responding to a fan who asked him if he had enjoyed dunking on him.

Notably, one didn’t have to know him personally to realize that.

Claxton was — literally — ejected from a game for excessively taunting Embiid after dunking on him, and they have a bit of a history together.

Embiid attempted to kick him, Claxton stepped on him, and they went back and forth, chirping every single time they were on the court together.

Of course, Claxton isn’t in the same stratosphere as Embiid by any means, as he’s currently trying to make a name for himself as a rising defensive star in the league, whereas Embiid is the reigning MVP, but that hasn’t stopped the Nets big man from trying to get the best of him.

Embiid is as talented as they come, yet some tend to think that his personality has gotten the best of him more often than not.

Whatever the case, you better believe he’s going to keep notes of Claxton’s words, and their next game will be a must-watch.
