With the NFL offseason now in full swing, with NFL free agency set to get underway on March 13, followed by the 2024 NFL Draft in April, much speculation and many rumors are swirling around the league about teams’ intentions.
As usual, many of these rumors are about quarterbacks in the league and quarterbacks coming out of the college game to be on the NFL level, as everyone wants to know how things will shake out over the next two months.
One veteran quarterback who has been getting a lot of buzz lately has been Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings, whose season came to an end prematurely during the 2023 campaign after he suffered an Achilles injury.
Although an Achilles injury can end the careers of players at an advanced age like Cousins, he is still a hot commodity right now, with a few teams expected to show interest in him once he officially hits free agency.
One of those teams is the Atlanta Falcons, who have made it their No. 1 priority to upgrade the quarterback position, and bringing in Cousins would do just that.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Falcons are the new favorite to sign Cousins in free agency, via NBC Sports Bet.

The Falcons would be an ideal team for Cousins at this point in his NFL career, as they have some intriguing weapons like Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts to build around offensively.
The only major problem in Atlanta has been the quarterback position, and signing Cousins would immediately address that issue.
