The Kansas City Chiefs have continued to make offseason moves, even after winning the Super Bowl last season.
While the Chiefs haven’t necessarily signed a lot of players, the players that they have signed have been viewed positively.
One of their most recent signings was Charles Omenihu, who has recently posted a video about his offseason training methods.

As Omenihu highlights in this video, he is working on 42-inch vertical jumps with a 20-pound medicine ball in his hands.
This drill is likely to improve his explosiveness on the field, as he will look to make an immediate impact on the Chiefs.
Omenihu is a five-year NFL veteran and has spent the last two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.
Last year, he totaled 20 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in his 17 games with the 49ers.
If he can make a similar splash for the Chiefs, their defensive unit should be greatly improved, which was much needed after Frank Clark left in free agency.
After the 2022 season, the Chiefs’ defensive line was ranked eighth in the league.
If this ranking is any indication, the Chiefs desperately needed to add Clark’s replacement and could utilize the draft to bolster the positional group as well.
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills are slotted above them in these rankings, the only two other AFC teams in the top eight.
Will the Chiefs be able to contend for another Super Bowl in 2023, knowing that the AFC is only getting stronger?
