Much of the NFL talk over the last few months has been about where the top six quarterbacks will go in the 2024 draft.

However, there is a notable group of talented receivers who will be first-round picks as well.

The Arizona Cardinals currently have the fourth pick in the draft and many believe the team will take a pass catcher.

Arizona already has a quarterback in Kyler Murray but he needs more weapons to feed the ball to.

Despite the huge need for the organization, the Athletic reported on Thursday that the Cardinals are eager to move down from their draft spot.

But the belief around the NFL is that teams haven’t been tripping over themselves to pay a premium to move up to No. 4.

At least not yet.

The publication also noted that teams haven’t yet been willing to give away the farm by moving up.

An excerpt from the Athletic quotes national NFL insider Jeff Howe who wonders if the Giants will trade up with Arizona to take OSU’s Marvin Harrison Jr.

Harrison is one of the prized receivers that several clubs have their eyes on and the Giants, according to Howe, are reportedly infatuated with him.

New York is in the sixth spot but may move up if they think the Cardinals will take Harrison.

Even if Arizona does take him, the Giants still have a number of good prospects to choose from.

Notably, LSU’s Malik Nabers and Washington’s Rome Odunze have been ranked high picks.

It’s understandable, though, why the Giants prefer Harrison especially because his father played over a decade in the league and won a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning.

The sports world will soon learn whether New York will stand firm or give in to temptation.
