The NFL is a quarterback’s league, and that statement couldn’t be more accurate than it is nowadays.
The game revolves around the position now more than ever, and the new rules favor the passing game way over the defense or even the run.
With that in mind, Netflix has decided to give its audience just what they want, putting together a new series called “Quarterback.”

The platform and the league recently released a hype video to get their fans excited ahead of its premiere on July 12, and the trailer looks quite exciting.
Notably, it will show us an in-depth look at the everyday grind of three NFL quarterbacks, namely Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota.
Of course, Mahomes is the main attraction, considering that he’s the best player in the league and one of the most talented quarterbacks this game has ever seen, but adding Cousins and Mariota will definitely give us a different perspective as well.
Cousins isn’t a top-tier QB by any means, but he was also playing for a playoff contender looking to prove the doubters wrong, and his motivation is most definitely not the same as Mahomes’.
As for Mariota, we might literally get to watch the grind of a player looking to salvage his career and then fighting to hold on to that starting QB spot.
And while it may not be the flashiest or most luxurious position to be in, it’s going to be quite interesting get an inside look as to how things went down.
