Everybody around the National Football League is talking about Jalen Carter right now, but not for the best reasons.
The Georgia DT has gotten plenty of criticism for turning down all pre-draft visits with teams outside of the top 10 in the upcoming NFL Draft.
That’s not standard procedure, as there could also be other teams looking to trade up and get him, so some are wondering where this is coming from.
That’s why Pat McAfee reached out to NFL Draft specialist Daniel Jeremiah to ask him where he sees Carter landing and why he is taking this rather unorthodox approach.

Per Jeremiah, this could only mean that Carter and his agent Drew Rosenhaus have already been assured that he’s going to be taken by one of the top-10 teams, with the Philadelphia Eagles being his best guess.
Jeremiah stated that the Eagles are obsessed with the pass rush, adding that they already have former Georgia star Nakobe Dean to pair with him on the field, so Howie Roseman may have promised him that they’re not going to let him slip past 10.
The Eagles also have Jordan Davis on the roster, so they could now have a trio of national champion Bulldogs wreaking havoc on the defensive side of the field.
Carter is coming off a remarkable season with 32 tackles (seven for a loss), three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and three sacks, and he looks like the kind of player who could go on to have a Hall of Famer-caliber career if put in the right position.
