We’re just a couple of weeks away from the start of the NFL season.
That means that most of the stars and great players are already gone by now, as we’re so deep into the offseason.
Nonetheless, teams needing more depth or experience could still find plenty of value with some of the guys who are still up for grabs.
With that in mind, NFL insider Ari Meirov shared the list of the best free agents still available, naming the likes of Ryan Tannehill, Adoree’ Jackson, Xavien Howard, Yannick Ngakoue, Hunter Renfrow, David Bakhtiari, Michael Thomas, D.J. Humphries, Patrick Peterson, Charles Leno, Ahkello Witherspoon, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Jayron Kearse, Micah Hyde, Jerick McKinnon, Dalvin Cook, Eli Apple, and Lawrence Guy.

Chances are that several of them will make their way to a roster at some point in the season, while others might find it tougher to get another opportunity, either because of their age or their history of injuries.
With Justin Simmons and Stephon Gilmore both finding new homes recently, it might take until the start of the season before we see some of these guys getting back on the gridiron.
Football is a physical sport, and as such, a player is always an injury away from not coming back, but that also means a door could always open for a veteran to get back on the field.
Hopefully, some of these players will get a chance to walk away from the game on their own terms and not be forced to retire.
