Kansas City Chiefs fans might have screamed extra loudly at their TVs if they watched Monday Night Football.
The Chiefs are coming off a play in their loss to the Buffalo Bills where Kadarius Toney was noted as offsides.
This caused outcry among the fanbase, as it took the game-winning touchdown off the board.
In the Miami Dolphins’ Monday Night Football game, Jaylen Waddle was noted as being in a similar position as Toney.
He was not flagged for this offense, as was pointed out in Jordan Schultz’s video on Twitter.
#Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle lined up in what looks like the identical spot as Kadarius Toney. This time? No call.
I think players and fans just want consistency from the refs more than anything. pic.twitter.com/VMqPmSJSpv

As Schultz noted, it is not so much a fan frustration that this was not called on Waddle.
Instead, it is an indictment on the current state of officiating in the NFL.
Fans and analysts are calling for changes, which, at this moment in time, doesn’t seem to be happening.
Referees have been blamed for several losses in recent history, including in the Chiefs’ last two losses.
With the ever-growing presence of sports gambling and the general integrity of the sport, many are concerned that referees are deciding close games.
It will be interesting to see if there is any fallout from this clip, especially after the controversy of the Chiefs game.
If it is called in one instance, one might assume it would be called in another, which is not the case in the NFL.
The Dolphins got away with this, although it didn’t impact the game’s outcome.
They still lost to the Tennessee Titans in a hard-fought battle that came down to the wire.
