The New York Giants are a team on the rise in the NFL, with the storied franchise finally being able to turn things around in the post-Eli Manning era, as the team was able to make it to the playoffs and come away with a win in the postseason.
Unfortunately, the Giants did come up short in the NFL playoffs, as they went up against a determined Philadelphia Eagles team that was on a mission to make it to the Super Bowl.
Even though they were unable to get by Jalen Hurts and company, New York showed tremendous promise for a bright future ahead under new head coach Brian Daboll, who has instantly changed the culture for the Giants.
As the Giants prepare to take the next step in 2023, the team continues to add pieces to the puzzle, with the latest being the addition of veteran wide receiver Cole Beasley.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Giants have brought in the savvy veteran to give quarterback Daniel Jones another solid target in the passing game.

A few years ago, the addition of Beasley would’ve been a game-changer for the Giants, as he would’ve been in his prime and a valuable asset to this team that hopes to be a title contender in the near future.
However, Beasley is arguably on the downside of his career in the NFL, and this signing was a bit of a surprise, with the consensus being that he’d retire or have no takers on the open market.
Although Beasley does make the team better right away, it remains to be seen how much he may have left in the tank.
