The Dallas Cowboys entered training camp with a lot of problems to solve.

One of their most pressing concerns was their offensive line, as they often broke down in the trenches last season.

This wasn’t the primary reason for the team’s collapse in the first round of the playoffs last year, but it was a part of it.

With enough work in the preseason, the Cowboys could take strides to take this line to the next level.

While their veteran players are going to be the main focal points, a rookie has emerged who could be a surprisingly great player.

According to Bucky Brooks via Brandon Loree, Cooper Beebe “has shown impressive skills controlling the point of attack from the pivot. With a pair of Pro Bowl-caliber blockers (Tyler Smith and Zack Martin) around him, Beebe could play like an all-star in Year 1.”

NFL analyst @BuckyBrooks names Cowboys Cooper Beebe as a rookie who showed “serious flashes” in the preseason.

Beebe wasn’t taken until the third round of this year’s draft, but if these comments are any indication, the Cowboys might have found a diamond in the rough.

They do have some solid veterans on the line, as Brooks mentioned, but they were missing at least one piece to be considered complete.

Early returns look encouraging from Beebe, but it remains to be seen how he’ll perform in the regular season.

Rookie offensive linemen can struggle when they get to the big leagues, but the Cowboys are expecting great things from Beebe.

For a team with as many stars as the Cowboys have, they should be in Super Bowl contention if all goes to plan.
