The New York Giants are a team with a potentially bright future ahead now that head coach Brian Daboll has come in and changed the culture.

Daboll’s presence has been extremely valuable for the Giants, and it showed during the 2022 NFL season, with the team playing at a different level and winning a playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Although the Giants ultimately were knocked out of the postseason by the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, New York showed signs of turning things around, and Daniel Jones became the team’s face of the franchise moving forward.

Jaylon Smith provided some insight on why Daboll has been a game-changer for New York on The Jim Rome Show, with Giants players loving their new head coach.

With Daboll making such a significant impact in his first season with the team as head coach, it’ll be interesting to see how he’ll follow that up and whether the Giants can take another leap forward in 2023 to be a legitimate force to be reckoned with in the NFC.

Unfortunately, the Giants play in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, with the NFC East always being competitive and arguably the best division in the conference.

The Dallas Cowboys and Eagles will be tough teams to beat in 2023, which provides a huge challenge for New York, but the Giants can’t be ruled out with Daboll being their leader on the sideline and the team they have moving forward.

As long as the team takes care of star running back Saquon Barkley before the season or at least gets him to sign his franchise tag, the Giants will be a team to watch again next season.
