The National Football League has been America’s finest hobby for decades now, but it wasn’t that popular outside of U.S. borders.
That’s no longer the case, as the league has become more global now than ever, and fans from all over the world are often tuning in and watching.
The league has found plenty of success with its international games in London.
They’ve also played in Mexico and Germany, and now, Yahoo Sports reports that they’re considering hosting games in Brazil or Spain next season.

Needless to say, this is great news for football fans all across the globe, as they get a prime opportunity to watch their favorite players up close.
The league has even reportedly considered an expansion and creating a team in London, and the ever-growing fanbase makes it feel like it wouldn’t be the craziest idea.
Jersey sales, video game sales, and merchandising as a whole have gone way up over the past couple of years, and there’s not a corner on Earth in which they don’t know who Patrick Mahomes is.
Of course, it will take a while before the rest of the world catches up on this — if ever.
But the recently announced addition of flag football to the Olympics and the league’s constant initiatives to take the game to new countries will do wonders for the expansion of this beautiful sport.
