The NFL preseason is always a significant time for either young players or veterans who are still trying to prove that they can make an impact with their current team.
Recently, the NFL released the whole preseason schedule for the upcoming season.
There are plenty of intriguing matchups and reunions that will be exciting to see in the month of August (via Ian Rapoport).

Among the notable matchups is the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio between the Houston Texans and Chicago Bears.
Fans will get to see their first glimpse of Caleb Williams in blue and orange.
That game will be nationally televised on ESPN/ABC.
Both Chicago and Houston will be the only two teams to play four preseason games.
Other nationally televised games include the New Orleans Saints at the San Francisco 49ers in the second week (FOX) and the New England Patriots at the Washington Commanders in the third week (NBC).
In the latter matchup, fans will get to see their first glimpse of No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels as he goes up against No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye.
Another interesting nugget is that both Los Angeles teams (Week 2), along with both New York teams (Week 3), will face off against each other.
This part of the season is always intriguing because fans get to see the progress of their team’s young players.
They also sometimes get an opportunity see their favorite veteran players take the field just to get their legs under them before the start of the season.
As the NFL moves along, the preseason may become less significant because so many vets don’t want to risk injury in a meaningless game.
So for now, these players have to take advantage of their opportunities when they get them.
