The Little League World Series is in full swing.
That means it was time for the Little League Classic at Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
This year’s Classic featured the Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals.
Washington won, 4-3, but last night’s game was special mainly because of the experience for young baseball players.
Some of the Little Leaguers got the opportunity to speak with players from both teams.
Justin Jang of Australia got a chance to speak with Nick Castellanos and the two shared a special moment.
On Twitter, Sarah Langs of MLB.com described this special moment between Castellanos and Jang.
so Justin Jang of Australia’s Hills Little League asked Nick Castellanos a question + they had a little chat
Castellanos asked where he’s from and Justin says “Australia, but my background is Korean”
and Castellanos goes “wow, you’re a citizen of the world!” and it was SO SWEET pic.twitter.com/CWdVAtDvQE

Castellanos asked Jang where he was from, to which Jang replied that he was from Australia but had a Korean background.
The Phillies star right fielder was amazed to hear this and expressed as much to Jang.
“Wow, you’re a citizen of the world,” Castellanos said.
This is certainly a touching moment Castellanos and Jang got to share on Sunday night.
For a lot of these young players, the ultimate goal is to reach the Major Leagues and have an opportunity to compete with the best and brightest stars in the game.
The Little League World Series is certainly a good place to start.
It’s also a dream scenario for a kid to get a chance to meet a Major Leaguer and talk about baseball with him.
Kids playing baseball want to emulate the professionals and model their styles of play after the Major Leaguers.
Jang certainly experienced a moment he’ll never forget when he got to talk to Castellanos.
