The Philadelphia 76ers can’t seem to get away from the drama.
They got rid of Ben Simmons and replaced him with James Harden, which was pretty much more of the same.
Harden hasn’t been back to practice over the past couple of days, as he’s still looking to be traded.
He stated that he was never going to trust Daryl Morey again, stating that it was just like a marriage.
That’s why FOX analyst Nick Wright went full steam at him in the latest edition of “First Things First,” calling him out for not telling the whole story.
“What James Harden left out of his marriage analogy was the ‘betrayal’ happened after he tried to publicly move in w/ someone else…. Harden told everyone who’d listen, starting on Christmas, that he was going to sign w/ the Rockets.”

Wright stated that Harden should’ve also talked about how he’d started talking about wanting to go back to the Houston Rockets for months before this whole situation spiraled.
Harden recently claimed that he wanted to retire as a member of the Sixers, but the front office didn’t have that in their plans.
Truth be told, the story doesn’t add up.
Morey is actually the only one who has a high value and regard for Harden in the league nowadays.
Rockets coach Ime Udoka even admitted that he chose Fred VanVleet over him, so the Rockets literally snubbed him despite his desire to be back home; it’s not like the Sixers prevented him from doing so.
Also, Harden claims that he took a pay cut to re-sign with the Sixers because he was eligible to get $15 million more, but that doesn’t mean he was actually going to get those $15 million.
He tried to leverage his way into the Rockets, and then the free agent market shut its door on him, and that’s entirely on him.
