The Kansas City Chiefs headed into last season as a team that many thought would start to falter, with the star-studded team trading superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins due to being unable to see eye-to-eye on a new contract.
The Chiefs were expected to take a step back or simply no longer be the high-powered offense without the threat of Hill downfield, but even though the team struggled early, Patrick Mahomes and company far exceeded expectations in 2022.
Despite all the doubts and criticism due to the Hill situation, Kansas City was able to carve a path to the Super Bowl and win it all after getting the best of Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in the big game last February.
With Mahomes proving once again that he’s the best quarterback in the NFL, Nick Wright of Fox Sports argues that the superstar quarterback is untradeable because the Chiefs wouldn’t get the same value in return via What’s Wright? with Nick Wright.
“There is not a trade you could make for fair value for Patrick Mahomes. … You have the most talented player in the history of the sport, there is no trade that could be made.”

Although Wright is clearly a big fan of the Chiefs and more than likely biased in his takes about Kansas City, it’s hard to argue with his stance here, as Mahomes may very well be the most valuable quarterback in the league, only comparable to Tom Brady in his prime with the New England Patriots.
Mahomes is the only quarterback currently in the running to come close to matching Brady’s legacy, as he’s already got two Super Bowl titles to his credit and could be well on his way to winning many more.
