Over the last few years, one of the biggest threats to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC has been Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, with the team stacked on both sides of the football.
However, the team never seems to get over the hump against their rivals when it comes time to face one another in the NFL playoffs, as the Chiefs always seem to have the Bills’ number when the lights are the brightest in the postseason.
As if the Bills’ latest loss to the Chiefs in the playoffs wasn’t bad enough, with the team being favored at home and still losing to Kansas City, Buffalo has now traded away its second-best offensive player.
On Wednesday, the Bills made a deal with the Houston Texans to send star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to Texas in exchange for draft picks, which some people believe was the end of a disappointing era in team history, especially Nick Wright of FOX Sports, via “First Things First.”
“This is the culmination of one of the most disappointing, overhyped, underachieving, never-were eras of this generation of pro football,” Wright said.
“This is culmination of one the most disappointing, overhyped, underachieving, never-were eras of this generation of pro football. … Drop the banner!”

Although Wright may have gone a little too far with his excitement over the trade, considering he’s a diehard Chiefs fan from Kansas City, the Bills may have made a costly mistake here if they can’t find Diggs’ replacement.
Fortunately, Buffalo has a chance to make some moves during the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, with this draft class being the most talented in recent memory when it comes to the wide receiver position.
The Bills not only need to replace Diggs but also Gabe Davis, who left the team in NFL free agency this offseason.
