After an up-and-down 2023-24 NBA regular season, the once-dominant Golden State Warriors were barely able to secure their spot in the Play-In Tournament, where they’ll have to play the division-rival Sacramento Kings to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Even if they beat the Kings, Stephen Curry and company will have to face the loser of the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night and get the win to advance to the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Needless to say, the odds are against the Warriors making it to the postseason, with a big hill to climb moving forward against teams that know them very well.
However, there’s still a chance that this team led by superstar talent can make a run, but Nick Wright of FOX Sports isn’t confident that will happen, via “First Things First.”
“I do not think the Warriors are making the playoffs,” Wright said.

Unfortunately for Golden State, along with their playoff lives being on the line this week, the team’s dynasty being intact beyond this season is also in danger.
If the Warriors fail to make a deep run in the playoffs, it is safe to say that some moves will be made in the offseason to break up this core, which has won four NBA titles during its reign as the best team in the Western Conference.
However, there’s still a chance Curry and company still have a bit of magic left in them as they head into the postseason as a team that should always be considered dangerous in any playoff scenario.
