The NBA has seen some of the best athletes in the world competing in its league.
Some of those athletes became generational talents, known as the best players of a single era.
Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan are a few athletes that have claimed a “generational” label.
Steph Curry and James are the two active players to be commonly described this way, and Curry is widely viewed for the way he changed the three-point shot across the world.
Recently, conversations have arisen about a potential comparison between Curry and Magic Johnson.
In a recently shared tweet from Nick Wright, he said, “I think we will see another Steph Curry before we see another Magic Johnson.”

Johnson and Curry are point guards, but their play styles are different.
For one, Johnson is six inches taller than Curry, which led to more dominance as a rebounder.
He was the first of his kind, one of the tallest players to have the ability to dribble, assist, and score efficiently.
Wright seems to believe it’ll be harder to replicate a player like Johnson and that a Curry-esque player will come along sooner.
However, Curry has done more than establish himself as the NBA’s leader in career threes.
He has also been touted for his elite handles, allowing him to get to the rim and finish with ease.
Wright’s prediction has gotten significant buzz across the internet, and fans are curiously awaiting which type of player will come through the league next.
