Every single year, ahead of the start of the NFL season, the star quarterbacks around the league become the focal of debates and discussions about the upcoming campaign and which leaders under center will have success and live up to expectations.
Along with discussions about whether certain quarterbacks can live up to expectations and make the best of their situations, a handful of superstars will also be under tremendous pressure to be successful on the football field, and the 2024 NFL season is no different.
Although the Kansas City Chiefs will be under pressure to make NFL history in 2024, as the back-to-back champions have the opportunity to be the first team to win three straight Super Bowl titles, superstar Patrick Mahomes didn’t make Nick Wright’s list of quarterbacks under the most pressure this year.
On First Things First, the FOX Sports analyst named five quarterbacks in particular that will be under the most pressure, starting with New York Jets superstar Aaron Rodgers, followed by Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers), Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins), Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles) and Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills).
The 5 QBs under the most pressure, according to @getnickwright:
1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Brock Purdy
3. Tua Tagovailoa
4. Jalen Hurts
5. Josh Allen

Rodgers being at the top of the list makes a lot of sense, considering the Jets fell apart last season after he went down in Week 1 against the division-rival Bills, and everything hinges on his health moving forward.
Purdy coming in second seems to be high because he’ll be heading into only his third season with the 49ers and still may need a year or two to reach his true potential.
Allen is probably the one quarterback who should contend with Rodgers for the top spot, as the pressure is definitely on in Buffalo after so many failed attempts to go the distance in the postseason despite having a talented roster.
