The NFC East division in the NFL is always a competitive division with some of the best divisional rivalries in professional sports, especially when the Dallas Cowboys are one of the teams in that rivalry.
During the 2023 NFL season, the NFC East is expected to be highly competitive once again, with three teams in the division all having a shot to come out on top as division champs.
Of course, after the season they had last year and making it to the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles will be the team to beat in the division, as they may have gotten even better throughout the offseason on both sides of the football.
However, the Cowboys are an intriguing team in 2023, with Dallas potentially having one of the best defenses in the league while also having a formidable offense.
Nick Wright of Fox Sports makes the case that the Cowboys might have the edge in the matchup with the Eagles during the upcoming season via First Things First.

Even though the consensus right now is that the Eagles and Cowboys are the top-two teams in the NFC East right now, the New York Giants can’t be overlooked, especially after the team was able to secure a deal with star running back Saqon Barkley for the 2023 campaign.
Although the Giants are still very much the underdog to come out on top in the NFC East, New York can make some noise in the division.
Despite the threat of the Giants making some noise, Dallas will likely be the biggest threat to Philadelphia’s hopes of winning the division title once again, as they’re already the best all-around team in the division.
