The Minnesota Timberwolves have taken down the reigning champion Denver Nuggets but now they have to face off against the Dallas Mavericks.
What are the chances that the Mavericks prove to be more difficult than the Nuggets?
Speaking on “First Things First,” Nick Wright made a bold prediction for the upcoming series.
He said he thinks the Mavericks will win in six games and called them “the most dangerous team left in the playoffs.”

Oddsmakers have the Timberwolves as the favorites for this series but Wright doesn’t think they’ll win.
Instead, he thinks Minnesota will experience a bit of an emotional letdown at the start, allowing the Mavericks to possibly win one or two games right away.
He also said that life will be hard for Timberwolves big man Rudy Gobert and that will really hurt Minnesota.
Wright is impressed that the Mavericks have made it so far in the playoffs, even though Kyrie Irving has been hit-or-miss and Luka Doncic hasn’t been playing incredibly well during the postseason.
The team’s chances of winning it all will only grow when Doncic and Irving perform better during this series.
Many people think that the Timberwolves will be the triumphant team, especially after they did so well against the Nuggets.
These people believe that proved a lot about how strong and deep this roster is.
One thing everyone can agree on is that the showdown between the Mavericks and Timberwolves may be explosive and could show NBA fans the future of the league.
For years now, both Anthony Edwards and Doncic have been fighting hard to bring their respective teams to the Finals.
This year, one of them will accomplish that.
