Each offseason, one of the interesting topics to discuss is the NFL Top 100 player rankings.
It is voted on by the players and there are always some players who are underrated and also overrated.
One of the interesting parts of the list is the top-10 ranked players.
This year’s list features Patrick Mahomes in the number one spot, followed by Justin Jefferson and Jalen Hurts.
But, Nick Wright does not believe that Hurts is deserving of being the second-ranked quarterback.
He thinks Joe Burrow is substantially better than Hurts and deserves to be ranked second, via “First Things First.”

Wright makes a strong argument for Burrow over Hurts.
The one clear argument is that Burrow is a substantially better passer.
Hurts is an elite dual-threat quarterback but most defenses fear him because of his legs.
The Eagles were able to win games without Hurts having a strong passing performance.
But that could never be the case for the Bengals who needed Burrow to be elite for them to score.
Last season, Hurts threw for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns with six interceptions.
Meanwhile, Burrow put up 4,475 yards with 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
These rankings are based on the play from last year.
Hurts finished second in MVP voting while Joe Burrow finished fourth.
It will be intriguing to see what each does for an encore this year.
