Despite upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football last week, the New England Patriots still sit at 3-10 during the 2023 NFL season and are well on their way to a top-five pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Patriots have been one of the worst offensive units in the league and will likely target one of the highly-touted quarterback prospects in this upcoming draft class.
New England finally benched Mac Jones in favor of Bailey Zappe who breathed some life into an anemic offense.
Although the win gave fans something to cheer about, team owner Robert Kraft will still have to make some big decisions in the offseason.
There are already reports circulating that the first domino to fall will be head coach Bill Belichick who Kraft will reportedly part ways with following the conclusion of the season.
If Belichick does get let go, Nick Wright believes the future Hall of Fame coach should take a page out of Tom Brady’s book and go to the Tamba Bay Buccaneers via First Things First.

Brady’s second retirement left the Buccaneers in a precarious position where they were left with win-now players, but not a star quarterback to lead them.
However, Tampa Bay currently is at the top of the NFC South but could be looking to upgrade their head coach if they let go of Todd Bowles who has been decent since taking over for Bruce Arians.
Wright thinks the move is the perfect way for Belichick to get even with Brady, though there are no signs that Bowles is on his way out.
