After an incredible performance in Game 7 against the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has received a lot of praise, with many starting to look at his legacy a little differently.
As a result of Curry’s 50-point game against the Kings, the future Hall of Famer has become the talk of the NBA, with many starting to put him in the same category as Magic Johnson in terms of being in the conversation for being the best point guard of all time.
On Monday, Nick Wright of Fox Sports joined the masses by praising Curry after apologizing to the four-time NBA champion but still admitting that a healthy De’Aaron Fox would’ve led the Kings to victory.
“I will apologize to one person & one person only — & that’s Steph Curry. … All things equal, with a healthy De’Aaron Fox, the Kings are a better team. One of the greatest players ever had one of the greatest games of his career.”

Curry’s performance will be all anyone can talk about until the next great playoff performance, which could come as early as tonight with how things are going in the NBA.
Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat recently scored 56 points against the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks and dominated the headlines until Curry exploded for 50 against the Kings.
All the attention in the league will now turn to Curry and LeBron James battling it out in the second round, with strong legacy implications on the line for both players.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Warriors will go head-to-head starting on Tuesday night, with Golden State playing host to James and company for Game 1 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
It will mark the start of another entertaining series in these playoffs, which has already exceeded expectations in that category.
