Even though everybody talked about Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks, the Boston Celtics were the biggest winners of the NBA offseason.
Trading for Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis was a massive win for Brad Stevens, and it didn’t take long to see the benefits.
The Celtics are almost a lock to finish the season with the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and the best record in the league.
Their point differential is one of the best of all time, and they have four legitimate All-Star-caliber players in their starting lineup.
That’s why sports analyst Nick Wright believes it’s officially title or bust for them right now.
Talking on his What’s Wright show, he claimed that even though it’s not usual to see teams who haven’t won a championship getting that distinction, that’s where the Celtics stand right now.
“The Celtics are legit. … If they don’t win the title, it’s a big-time failure. It’s rare you become a ‘Title or Bust’ team before they win a title, but that’s where the Celtics find themselves,” Wright said.

Truth be told, he’s right on point there.
The Celtics have cruised past their opposition, and they have the deepest roster in the league by a significant margin.
They’ve been the team to beat in the Eastern Conference for years now, yet they don’t have anything to show for it.
They lost in the NBA Finals two years ago, and they’ve only gotten better ever since.
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have absolutely everything they need around them to take care of business this time around.
And people will have some uncomfortable conversations about them if they crumble under pressure in the playoffs again, especially given Brown’s contract and Tatum’s impending record-breaking extension.
