The Kansas City Chiefs finished the 2022 regular season with a 14-3 record, which was capped off with a Super Bowl victory.
Those three losses came at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Bengals, and Buffalo Bills.
Despite being doubted by many, especially after they lost to the Bills, the Chiefs fought the rest of the season to earn their title.
As the team has turned its attention to the 2023 season, Nick Wright has recently made a bold prediction for the Chiefs.
In a recent ‘First Things First’ segment,’ Wright said, “There are nice little benchmarks for them to hit” on their quest for a perfect season.
Can the Chiefs go undefeated this season?

Wright has also said that he believes the Chiefs will win three-straight championships, a feat that has never been accomplished.
The last team to win back-to-back Super Bowls was the New England Patriots, which happened in 2004 and 2005.
In this segment, Wright went through most of the games on the Chiefs’ schedule.
He mentioned a few tests throughout the way, including the Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, and Cincinnati Bengals.
However, as Wright indicated, if the Chiefs can escape those games with a win, they could easily have an undefeated season.
The Chiefs have lost a few pieces during the offseason, particularly on offense.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs could struggle to click early on, which was one of their problems in the early stages of the 2022 season.
If they’re able to find their way early, is it possible that they can finish the regular season undefeated?
