For the first time in years, NBA fans will be able to get some brand-new Kobes.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend’s signature brand will be back, according to an announcement made by Nike Basketball earlier on Wednesday.

Notably, Nike and Kobe’s widow, Vanessa, had been in a back-and-forth on social media after some leaked pictures of an alleged tribute to her late daughter, Gianna.

There were reports about Kobe wanting to end his partnership with Nike once and for all and get his very own brand before his sudden and tragic passing.

Nike also pulled most of Kobe’s apparel to prevent re-sellers from profiting from his passing.

Needless to say, Kobe’s brand has always been one of the most successful and popular all around the world, and the new sneakers are expected to be an instant success as soon as they become available.

Bryant became one of the most influential athletes of all time long before his passing, and his legacy and legend have only become bigger since that day.

The five-time NBA champion inspired generations of hoopers and touched countless hearts with his many endeavors, even those unrelated to the game of basketball.

Now — hopefully — millions of people will continue to honor him and everything he stood for in one way or another.
