Kevin Durant has been identified as one of the best players in the NBA over the past decade.
His combination of size, speed, athleticism, and pure shooting ability is unique, and his skillset has allowed him to be successful in the league for many years.
Not every NBA player performs well in international competition, but Durant has also found the sweet spot with the Olympic games and recently moved to No. 1 on the all-time scorers list for Team USA.
To commemorate the occasion, Nike released a commercial, as Nick DePaula called out on Twitter, which highlighted some of his top plays from this competition.

This video is narrated by the great Deion Sanders, and it calls out Durant’s doubters, who often criticize his game and some of his off-court antics and beliefs.
While Durant might not be everyone’s favorite player, it’s getting difficult to deny his greatness, both at the Olympic and NBA levels.
He is currently shining in the Olympics, but in a few short weeks, he’ll have to get re-focused on the NBA season.
Durant and Devin Booker are the two Phoenix Suns representatives on Team USA, and they’ve both had their moments in the spotlight.
International competition is certainly important, but with the Suns struggling to make deep playoff runs in recent years, they’ll need to try and translate their Olympic success into the NBA season.
The Western Conference is going to be a battle again this year.
