The Denver Nuggets are back in control of the series.
They won their third consecutive game to take a 3-2 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves, proving why they’re the defending champions.
Notably, Nikola Jokic has been even better during this winning streak, which is a lot to say, considering how well he had played leading to these games.
Moreover, Jokic has shown a side of his game that we had seldom seen throughout the course of his career, as he’s given us a couple of poster dunks over the past couple of games.
With that in mind, a journalist asked him if that was due to the Timberwolves’ rim protection, in the sense that he may have to be a little more aggressive and emphatic when he drives to the basket.
Instead, Jokic simply said that he was a freak of nature and wanted to show off his athleticism (via NBA).

Jokic’s sense of humor is second to none, and the fact that he says that stuff with a straight face only makes it even funnier.
He’s known for being the greatest passing big man of all time, an elite playmaker, a dominant rebounder, and a three-level scorer, but he’s never been praised for his hops or his athleticism — no one’s perfect.
Even so, a guy as big and strong as him is going to have a couple of posters every now and then; it’s only right.
All jokes aside, Jokic was simply unstoppable in Game 3, and the reigning champions are now just one win away from another trip to the Western Conference Finals.
