The Denver Nuggets are right back in the mix
They responded just like NBA champions do, taking Target Center by storm and securing homecourt advantage again.
Once again, their selfless kind of basketball has paved the way for their success, and it’s not a coincidence to see they happen to have arguably the most down-to-Earth and humble superstar in the league.
Following the win, Aaron Gordon credited Nikola Jokic for his selflessness and how it has inspired everybody else to fall in line, stating that if a three-time MVP can be selfless, so can he.
Then, the media asked Jokic about that, and while he looked humble, he also had an interesting take on it (via NBA).

Jokic believes selfless basketball is the best brand of basketball and the best product they can give the fans, and the best part is that it’s contagious.
The Nuggets have a clear pecking order, but it doesn’t always show on the court.
They make sure to get everybody involved on offense, and every single player does their part on defense as well.
There is no ego or agenda; it’s all winning basketball.
Jokic is the kind of player who could score 30+ on any given night, yet he knows that’s not what it takes to win at times, and he’s always been a pass-first kind of guy as well.
He might not be the most vocal leader out there, but he leads by example every single day, and the results in Mile High speak for themselves.
