Superstar Nikola Jokic of the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets is only in his ninth season in the league, but he’s already getting mentioned in the same breath as some of the greatest players to ever play the game due to what he’s been able to accomplish on the basketball floor.

It seems that Jokic adds to his legacy on a nightly basis with incredible performances, most often leading the Nuggets to a victory at home or on the road, with Denver without a doubt being one of the best teams in the league this year.

On Sunday, Jokic put on a show against the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers, as he dropped yet another triple-double with 26 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 assists, which puts him in the same category as Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, and Oscar Robertson, according to StatMuse.

He has now passed Chamberlain for the most games with 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists on at least 60-percent shooting in NBA history.

Even though these are some incredible numbers and he has joined select company as a result, Jokic only cares about winning titles these days and won’t celebrate until his team accomplishes that goal again.

The Nuggets became the first team in the Western Conference to clinch a playoff berth on Sunday as a result of getting the best of the Cavaliers in Denver, which takes them one step closer to defending their title in the NBA playoffs.

Although the West is much more competitive this season, it’s safe to say that the Nuggets are the team to beat moving forward, with Jokic and company playing some incredible basketball and paving their way to locking up a high seed, if not the top seed in the conference.
