Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is at the height of his powers right now, and he may only be getting started when it comes to building his legacy.
He won his first NBA championship and NBA Finals MVP last month, and he took home the regular season MVP in both of the previous two campaigns.
Now, Jokic has won a horse racing title in his native Serbia, and he decided to gleefully celebrate the accomplishment.

Jokic is a unique superstar, and it isn’t only because of his skills on the court.
He is perhaps the best passing big man of all time, and he came extremely close to averaging a triple-double this past regular season with 9.8 assists per game.
But he is also a very low-key, modest, and approachable superstar, and his public persona stands in stark contrast to the image of NBA and NFL stars who are all about swagger and braggadocio.
Perhaps the mantle of being a curmudgeon has fallen on Nuggets head coach Michael Malone, who strutted around like a peacock hopped up on energy drinks during the team’s championship parade a few weeks ago.
But behind Jokic, the team is considered by many to have a legitimate chance of becoming a dynasty, or at least of winning one or two more rings in the next few years.
He is just 28 years of age, and several of the team’s other key players, including co-star Jamal Murray, are also young and in their prime.
The one concern for Denver is the fact that key sub Bruce Brown left in free agency, but they still have the best starting five in basketball and have to be considered the favorites to win it all again this coming season.
