For years, a typical center in the NBA was expected to be in the paint and finish the job under the rim.
Apart from that, the centers primarily set screens for other positions in the league to create space on the floor.
However, if there is someone who has truly evolved the position, it’s none other than Nikola Jokic.
While Jokic is more than capable of scoring, the Denver Nuggets superstar has impressed fans with his playmaking ability.
A perfect example of this was Jokic’s no-look pass during the Denver Nuggets’ recent matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.

As apparent from the video, Nikola Jokic fooled the entire Pelicans’ defense with an unexpected no-look pass to Aaron Gordon.
Gordon didn’t disappoint as he finished an easy bucket under the rim.
Speaking of Jokic, the two-time NBA MVP has helped the Nuggets stay one of the best teams in the Western Conference this season.
The Nuggets currently have a 27-13 record as they hold the third seed in the Western Conference.
Jokic has averaged 25.5 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 9.3 assists per game for the Nuggets over 39 appearances this season.
It is apparent that Jokic is having yet another incredible season and hopes to help the Nuggets defend their NBA title.
