LeBron James and Anthony Davis own plenty of real estate, but the Denver Nuggets own them.
Mike Malone’s team has beaten the Los Angeles Lakers nine times in a row, and while the final score has always been close, it has always felt like the Lakers never truly stood a chance.
That’s why, right before their ninth consecutive win against them, Nuggets fans were absolutely ruthless, chanting ‘Who’s your daddy?’ (via Barstool Sports).

There’s a big rivalry brewing here.
It all started last year in the playoffs when, despite being down 0-2, the media only talked about how Darvin Ham had finally figured the Nuggets out or what the Lakers should do to come back in the series, and never about how well the Nuggets had played despite being the best team in basketball all season.
Coach Malone called the media about it, and the players took it upon themselves to make sure people couldn’t look past them anymore.
Then, the coach doubled down on it by making fun of LeBron for hinting at retirement when everybody knew he wasn’t going to retire, and he just wanted to distract people from the fact that he had gotten swept.
Finally, Anthony Davis claimed that the Lakers wanted all the smoke against Denver at the beginning of this season.
Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets have bragging rights over the Lakers, and that’ll continue to be the case until proven otherwise.
