The Denver Nuggets recently won their first NBA championship and most people think they can do it again in the new season and beyond.
They are set up for another stellar season and they might claim back-to-back Finals.
However, Nuggets GM Calvin Booth expects even more than that.
Speaking to Kevin O’Connor at The Ringer, Booth painted a picture of his vision for the future.
“If everything is optimized, we should win three or four [titles],” Booth confidently stated.

There are many reasons to believe that Booth is correct.
However, there are going to be a few things working against the Nuggets as they push forward in hopes of another championship.
First, any time a team wins the Finals, every other squad in the league sets their sights on them.
They are technically the best team in the league which means they also have the biggest targets on their backs.
Second, the Western Conference will continue to get stronger, tougher, and more competitive in the years ahead.
Fans saw a glimpse of that this summer, as the Phoenix Suns recruited Bradley Beal and others to bolster their chances in the new season.
The Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Houston Rockets are a few other teams adding new talent in order to become Finals contenders.
The Nuggets may be building a brand new NBA dynasty, but their competition isn’t going to make it easy.
Still, with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray leading the way, the Nuggets are definitely favorites to return to the Finals.
If they play as they did last season and figure out the new landscape of the West, they could repeat history.
