The San Antonio Spurs got a physical specimen when they drafted Victor Wembanyama.
His length and skills make him an enticing prospect and must-watch television every single time he sets foot on the court.
Moreover, he’s so impressive that even some of his colleagues — who are used to being around giants — have been in awe of him.
That includes Denver Nuggets rookie Jalen Pickett.
He was caught by the NBA’s Twitter account taking a glimpse at Wembanyama’s hands and talking to his teammates about just how big they are, and he was clearly impressed.

Wembanyama is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of talent.
He’s got the potential to be the best defensive player in the league in just a couple of years, as he has the ability to alter every single shot around him, both in the restricted area and the perimeter.
All players think twice or thrice before trying to challenge him when they drive, knowing well that he’s more than capable of swatting their shot all the way to the 400th row.
Wembanyama’s wingspan makes him deadly as a help defender, and those big hands also give him a significant edge when it comes to piling up steals or chase-down blocks.
Of course, he still has to work on polishing his game, especially on offense, but he could go down as one of the best two-way players to ever do it.
Still, it’ll take a long while before his rivals get used to seeing him on the other end of the floor.
