There were a few teams that were feared heading into the 2024 Summer Olympics.
The United States team, of course, was viewed as the most stacked, but Team Canada and Team Serbia also seemed to have rosters that could be difficult to stop down the stretch.
Serbia, of course, has Nikola Jokic on its roster, and Canada has several solid NBA athletes, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jamal Murray.
Murray is one of the best players on the Denver Nuggets and is viewed as a top player in the NBA by many.
Despite his standing in the NBA, his Olympic play has left something to be desired.
As Clutch Points called out on Twitter, Murray has only scored 13 points in Canada’s first two games, shooting 4/13 from the field, which includes just one of eight three-point attempts.
Jamal Murray is off to a rough start through 2 games in the Paris Olympics:
13 points
4-of-13 FG
1-of-8 3PT

Not the greatest start for someone who was expected to lead this team.
Thankfully for Murray, as Clutch Points also highlighted, his teammates have done enough to help carry the load.
Canada is 2-0 thus far, giving themselves a great shot to advance, potentially to the medal games.
Murray will certainly need to step up against teams like Serbia and the United States if Canada wants any chance of advancing far.
He has struggled in the playoffs in the past, only to find a burst of energy down the road, helping propel the Nuggets to their NBA Championship in the 2022-2023 season.
Team USA is looking tough to beat, so Canada will need all hands on deck to have a chance at taking them down.
